Apparel Procurement Manager

    Key Responsibilities:
    Implementation of Local Procurement Initiatives:

    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure local procurement processes, standards, and practices are effectively implemented.
    • Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of global product strategies to ensure variety, quality, and cost competitiveness of the product portfolio.

    Local Supplier Management:

    • Develop in-depth knowledge of Vietnam’s local supply market and establish strong, long-term partnerships with local apparel suppliers.
    • Conduct rigorous assessments, audits, and certifications of suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s standards in reliability, product quality, and delivery performance.

    Procurement Process Oversight:

    • Manage the full procurement cycle to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment according to contractual terms.
    • Proactively resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process.
    • Coordinate supplier inventory readiness, streamline workflows, and enhance supplier delivery efficiency.
    • Monitor market trends and supply chain dynamics to drive cost control and maintain procurement efficiency.

    Team Development & Leadership:

    • Coach and develop team members to build their understanding of the local supply landscape and strengthen their operational capabilities.
    • Foster a high-performing, professional local procurement team.

    Market Research & Compliance Monitoring:

    • Stay current with industry regulations, government policies, and compliance requirements in Vietnam to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated with emerging trends and shifts in the local supply chain ecosystem.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably with a background in Vietnam’s local market.
    • Strong understanding of Vietnam’s industrial landscape with excellent negotiation, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
    • Proficient in both Chinese and Vietnamese, with outstanding bilingual communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to manage high workloads under pressure.
