Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application Engineer to handle technical support for distributors and customers, while also assisting with sales operations. This role involves maintaining a strong distribution network and helping to expand it, to support the growth of the Industrial Tooling & Cutting Tools (IT–CT) business.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Technical Proposal & Tooling Solutions
- Prepare turnkey tooling proposals based on customer drawings.
- Design custom tools according to machining requirements.
- Suggest technical solutions using milling tools.
- Follow up and support the customer until mass production begins.
2. On-site Cutting Test Support
- Provide technical support at customer sites, especially for key or complex projects.
- Troubleshoot issues in the machining process, with a focus on milling operations.
3. Technical Seminars
- Conduct seminars and training sessions for distributors and end-users.
- Act as a technical speaker or trainer during these events.
4. Sales Team Support & Training
- Support the sales team through daily technical consultation and internal training.
- Share product knowledge and application know-how to improve team performance. Requirements
Education:
- College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Machining Technology. Experience: Have experience of working as an engineer in the machining industry.
Skills:
- Good English communication (verbal and written) for reports and meetings.
- Familiar with basic business practices (HOURENSOU), and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, especially in setting up tooling and improving productivity with solid round tools.
- Experience using any 2D/3D CAD/CAM software for mechanical part design.
- Able to operate Machining Centers and communicate effectively in English in a technical environment.
