Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Business Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver sustainable and profitable growth aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with retail partners to create and implement annual joint business plans, integrating brand initiatives, product marketing activities, and activation calendars to maximize both sell in and sell out performance.
Sales Performance Management
- Achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
- Monitor sell in, sell out, and inventory levels across partners and points of sale to optimize stock allocation and sales strategies.
Financial & P&L Management
- Oversee the P&L for the Travel Retail and Domestic Japan markets to ensure strong profitability.
- Negotiate commercial terms while managing A&P and trade operational budgets effectively.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and efficient control of travel and entertainment expenses.
Market & Channel Development
- Assess potential markets, sales channels, retail locations, and corporate clients for new business opportunities.
- Focus on improving retail conversion and strengthening sell out performance.
Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Develop annual sales forecasts by product category and SKU.
- Validate partner orders for new launches and ensure alignment with market demand and brand strategy.
- Provide detailed justification for forecasts using sales data and market insights when necessary.
Revenue & Order Management
- Build and implement revenue plans aligned with forecast targets.
- Monitor partner order cycles to ensure timely placements and achievement of monthly targets.
- Ensure merchandise availability for store openings and key launches.
Partner Engagement & Sales Development
- Conduct regular sales meetings with partners to review performance, discuss growth opportunities, and introduce new collections.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers to drive long term business growth.
Marketing & Trade Activities
- Execute marketing plans aligned with global and regional strategies.
- Coordinate trade activities and communicate action plans with internal stakeholders based on distributor and trade marketing guidelines.
Retail Operations & Visual Merchandising
- Ensure consistency and compliance of visual merchandising standards and store layouts.
- Support retail events, new store openings, and product launches.
- Prepare merchandise planning lists during the project briefing stage.
Negotiation & Commercial Management
- Work closely with partners to negotiate pricing, margins, payment terms, retail space opportunities, and stock planning.
- Support both ATL and BTL initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and sales performance.
Team Development & Recruitment
- Partner with HR to recruit and build strong retail teams for flagship locations.
- Deliver regular coaching programs to enhance sales performance and customer service standards.
Brand Standards & Presentation

Ensure all retail teams follow the brand’s grooming and presentation guidelines to maintain a consistent luxury image.
Mystery Shopping & Client Experience
- Select POS locations for mystery shopping programs and review results with distributors and retailers.
- Develop improvement plans and collaborate with training teams to enhance customer experience and sales capabilities.
- Contribute to defining KPIs and annual objectives related to mystery shopping programs.
Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams to address operational issues related to products, logistics, pricing, and other business matters.
Credit & Payment Coordination

Coordinate with administrative teams on credit management and payment tracking to ensure compliance with company policies.
Reporting & Projects
- Prepare regular sales reports to support business analysis and decision making.
- Take on additional assignments and projects when required.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university or international business school
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Retail Management, or Marketing
- Previous experience in the retail or luxury industry is an advantage
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Results driven with strong brand awareness and P&L understanding
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in multicultural and international environments
