Associate Director, Information and Technology

    POSITION OVERVIEW 

    • This position – in collaboration with local IT and data analytic team - will help company to make strategic decisions with data to ensure that we are best-placed to bring our innovations to customers and patients. 
    • Lead and manage the annual strategic priority setting process, Global/Regional Business reviews and CLTs offsite meetings. 
    • Implement projects as required by broader organization and cross-functional needs. 
    • Based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – a key growth market for the company in Asia Pacific (AP) and the world.

    PRIMARY ACTIVITIES 

    This role reports to the Managing Director and as a team member of Patient Access & Process Excellence and will consist of: 

    • Create a culture of data driven decision making by embracing all strategies made by data proven 
    • Study and provide market research and knowledge of data analytic practice and strategy to consult the business and implement industry best practices in analytics, and actively seek out opportunities for innovation with usage of non-traditional data and application of new modeling techniques. 
    • Evaluating and qualifying use cases, determining the value for the business, and leading teams to executing  
    • Chief of Staff responsibilities and Strategic Planning / Special Projects across the value chain 

    Information system & Data analytic 

    • Strategic Leadership: Partner with the leadership team & team members to drive strategic and technical strategy for key initiatives. Provide technical, mentorship, and guidance to team 
    • Provide strategies by collaborating with all stakeholders to understand business challenges and desired business outcomes and extract actionable insights to innovate solutions through data-driven quantitative methodologies. 
    • Contribute to control & measurement framework scopes and methodologies, create suitable frameworks, and execute on the appropriate data mining techniques across key projects. 
    • Oversee deployment and implementation of current and IT related solutions and track their impact on business outcomes. 
    • Build and develop team as a technology & data driven which foster the company to a faster response to any business challenges 

    Chief of Staff (assignment) 

    • Lead the annual strategic priority setting process 
    • Manage preparations for Global/Regional Business reviews & ongoing CLT monthly and quarterly offsite meetings, including Support annual calendar development and execution of large events/workshops 

    Strategic Planning / Special Projects (assignment) 

    • Projects as required by broader organization and cross-functional needs 
    • Example projects include but are not limited to: Vaccines supply forecasting analysis, Oncology pricing and reimbursement strategy, Regulatory policy shaping and managing uncertainty in timelines, DDnA roadmap development, using data to determine ROI for business decisions 

    WHAT YOU MUST HAVE 

    We are seeking a driven leader with cross-functional team leadership, is able to stay well-informed and be capable of managing project and communicating this effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is also critical qualities for this role, including the ability to adapt and overcome uncertainty.  

    To be successful in this role, you will also have: 

    • Cross-functional team leadership 
    • Project management, aligning stakeholders, and setting/managing OKRs 
    • Exposure or experience in emerging markets or small market teams 
    • Experience in Vaccines or Oncology 
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting and overcoming uncertainty 
    • Strategic thinking and financial acumen
