We are looking for a seasoned marketing leader to take charge of launching a groundbreaking oncology treatment. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping customer engagement strategies for both healthcare professionals and patients, helping to drive awareness, education, and adoption of a critical new therapy.
As Associate Director, you’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, integrated marketing initiatives. This includes developing promotional materials, overseeing omnichannel campaigns, and managing agency partnerships. You’ll also play a key role in executing post-launch plans and ensuring consistent brand presence across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute promotional content tailored to both healthcare providers and patients in the oncology field.
- Develop and manage multichannel marketing plans that blend digital, traditional, and field-based tactics.
- Work with analytics and research teams to uncover insights, track key performance indicators, and refine strategies accordingly.
- Lead disease awareness efforts aimed at educating the medical community and patient population.
- Coordinate the rollout of post-launch activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales force to support brand engagement and field effectiveness.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, compliance processes, and partner agency workflows.
- Act as a cross-functional liaison across departments such as medical, regulatory, sales, and operations to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Life Sciences).
- At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in oncology marketing, sales, or commercial functions.
- Demonstrated success launching new products or campaigns in the oncology space.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to interpret data, manage budgets, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through change.
Nice-to-Have:
- Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in a related discipline.
- Direct experience launching oncology therapies.
- Exposure to patient-focused and digital marketing approaches.
- Familiarity with oncology market trends, competitive landscapes, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Experience managing web platforms, CRM tools, and digital engagement programs.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in oncology marketing.
