About the team
E-commerce is a relatively new and rapidly expanding industry that uses commodity recommendation, short films, and live streaming to connect all consumers with top sellers and high-quality products. In order to give our users the most reliable and excellent experience possible, our E-commerce Recommendation Infra team is in charge of developing and refining the infrastructure for these recommendation systems. We develop scalable platforms to support a wide range of cutting-edge algorithms and methodologies in close collaboration with applied machine learning specialists.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage top-notch web services for the recommendation system.
- Create incredibly dependable and effective data pipelines for the creation of profiles, training examples, candidates, and real-time online training, among other uses;
- Create a large-scale, multinational recommendation system;
- Create and build storage systems and frameworks for high performance computing.
- Conduct research, create software for computers and networks, or create specialized utility programs.
- Utilizing the concepts and methods of computer science, engineering, and quantitative analysis, analyze user demands and create software solutions.
- Update software, improve features already present in software, create and oversee software testing and validation processes.
- Assist computer hardware engineers in developing specifications and performance criteria, as well as integrating hardware and software systems.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher, specializing in computer science or a related subject, and having built scalable systems for at least five years;
- Have at least some programming experience with one of the following languages: Golang, Python, Java, C++;
- strong communication abilities, drive, and a sense of ownership;
- Knowledgeable in at least one of the following fields: A benefit include search engines, large data frameworks, distributed storage systems, machine learning, and tailored recommendations.
