Business Development Director (Korea Market)

    About Our Client

    Our client is an established Vietnamese company specializing in Food & Beverage with a strong presence in Singapore, U.S., Australia market... With a vision to grow their business, they are currently looking for a Country Manager to setup the new office in Seoul, Korea.

    This is a perm role based in Seoul.

    Job Description

    • Devise short-term and long-term plans to develop the Korean market in accordance with the Group's strategy.
    • Seek and propose a consulting firm/law office; working with the consulting firm/law office for the procedure of opening the rep office as well as cooperation projects between the company and Korean partners.
    • Plan an coordinate with HQ’s Human Resources to recruit local staff  for Korean rep office after getting approval from BOD.
    • Look for available premises/building to open the rep office: negotiate rents, advise on collaborative methods, leasing contract as well as all terms and conditions relating to the setting-up the rep office.
    • Manage all operations of the office in Korea: human, expenses and expenditure... 
    • Manage all company’s distributors and partners in Korea; being responsible for implementing sales targets to achieve AOP, developing Korean market business as planned.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor degree or above
    • Experienced: sales, sales operations, managing representative office, building/managing a good sales team and distribution networks
    • Understanding the overview of Korean market, culture and consumer behavior
    • Experienced min 05 years in the same position – FMCG industry
