Key responsibilities:
- Search, follow up, and assess new project development opportunities in Commercial and Industrial Rooftop Solar;
- Obtain company objectives through strategic and tactical plans;
- Build, manage, extend, and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, local EVN, and potential clients to support project development procedures;
- Extend the network with industrial zones/parks in Vietnam;
- Arrange site visits and work with related departments to collect necessary information and close the deals;
- Participate in the preparation, negotiation, planning, and pricing process;
- Monitor, analyze, and summarize related government policies, regulations, and electricity market data to recommend forward-looking strategies for profitable project development;
- Assist and represent the company for any official events;
- Coordinate with the team in Vietnam in project development;
- Other development and support activities may be required by the Company.
Qualifications and skills:
- Experience in the energy in Vietnam;
- Industry knowledge and extensive network with industrial zones/parks and rooftop solar EPC companies are preferred;
- Hands-on sales experience across industrial zones/parks;
- Deep understanding of Vietnam’s infrastructure industry, especially the Power and Energy sector; and Vietnam's government policy agenda and political movements;
- Strong understanding of sales activities;
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral in English, fluency in Chinese is a plus;
- Well-developed skills in negotiation and network building;
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently with limited supervision;
- Able to travel frequently.
