Key responsibilities:
- Handle tasks related to ongoing projects as assigned by the Company;
- Prepare documents to apply for permits, agreements, and approvals for the development of solar and wind power projects;
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables;
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party consultants to track action items and ensure timely execution;
- Prepare and present development progress reports;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and local partners to facilitate project approvals;
- Identify project risks and collaborate with relevant departments to develop mitigation strategies;
- Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and electricity market trends to develop forward-looking project strategies;
- Support other company activities as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in preparing, applying, and obtaining documents, permits, approvals, etc. related to solar/wind power project development; Candidates having experience in working on projects from the early stage to the COD stage is preferred;
- Experienced with M&A Brownfield projects;
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate successful project development outcomes with key government and non-government stakeholders, especially experience in Power Purchase Agreement negotiation;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Outstanding communication skills (written & verbal) both outside and within an organization; Fluency in English or Chinese is preferred;
- Well-developed skills in research and analysis, problem-solving;
- Proactive, results-driven, and highly organized, with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks;
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally;
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently.
