Purpose of the Job:
Helping our client manage and reduce operational carbon emissions, contributing to sustainability and environmental goals.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the company’s sustainability database ensuring that the sustainability data collection is completed on the scheduled time.
- Monitoring GHG performance data monthly by building internal GHG management tools.
- Prepare and report the required ESG information accordingly to be aligned with the BM Group’s sustainability targets and various industry expectations - GRI standard, UNGC, EcoVadis, CDP, SBTi etc.
- Lead to deliver initiatives to support businesses in achieving near-term and long-term sustainability goals.
Educational Background:
- A bachelor's degree in fields such as Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Professional Experience:
- Several years of experience in carbon management, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, sustainability consulting, or related areas.
- Experience with GRI, SBTi, EcoVadis, CDP, CSRD etc., will be an advantage.
Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies, including Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions. Familiarity with GHG protocol (Scope3 Calculation, Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard).
- Experience with carbon calculation, GHG data analysis, lifecycle assessments, and carbon reduction strategies.
- Understanding of international and local regulations related to GHG and carbon markets.
- Familiarity with internal carbon management models and integration into corporate strategies.
Analytical and Communication Skills:
- Skilled in advanced Excel, including the ability to write IF statements.
- Strong mass data analytical skills to evaluate GHG management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex carbon management concepts to stakeholders.
