Cardiologist (Senior Expert Level)

    Position Overview
    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Cardiologist to join our hospital’s team of leading medical specialists. The role requires extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing complex cardiovascular conditions, as well as providing leadership in clinical practice, academic development, and research. The ideal candidate will be a recognized expert in the field, with proven ability to handle critical cases and contribute to advancing cardiology practice at both institutional and national levels.

    Responsilities

    • Clinical Excellence
      • Independently diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, including highly complex and critical cases.
      • Perform and supervise advanced interventional and non-invasive cardiology techniques, with proficiency in at least 50% of specialized advanced procedures.
      • Provide second-opinion consultations for challenging cases referred from other departments or external hospitals.
    • Leadership & Departmental Development
      • Lead and mentor junior doctors, residents, and fellows within the department.
      • Contribute to strategic development of cardiology services at hospital and departmental level.
      • Establish and monitor clinical protocols to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.
    • Academic & Research Contributions
      • Actively participate in academic teaching, curriculum development, and training programs for medical students, residents, and young specialists.
      • Lead or co-lead clinical research projects, publish in reputable journals, and present at national and international conferences.
      • Engage in continuous professional development and encourage evidence-based practice across the department.
    • Professional Engagement & Recognition
      • Represent the hospital in national and international cardiology associations and forums.
      • Maintain a strong reputation as a subject matter expert, contributing to policy-making, guideline development, and thought leadership in cardiology.
      • Foster collaborations with academic institutions, professional organizations, and healthcare partners to enhance the hospital’s influence in the field.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education & Certification
      • Doctorate in Medicine (PhD, clinical) or equivalent; Fellowship in Cardiology or subspecialty (e.g., Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure).
      • Academic title of Associate Professor or Professor (for Level 4), or Fellowship with minimum 15 years of clinical experience (for Level 3).
      • Licensed to practice medicine in relevant jurisdiction.
    • Experience
      • At least 15 years of clinical cardiology experience (Level 3) or 18+ years with academic/leadership recognition (Level 4).
      • Proven track record in managing complex and critical cardiovascular cases.
      • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced cardiology procedures (e.g., PCI, TAVR, EPS, Ablations, Advanced Imaging).
      • Prior leadership experience in a hospital, department, or academic institution strongly preferred.
    • Core Competencies
      • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions.
      • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration abilities.
      • International exposure and recognition in cardiology research, training, or policy contributions is a plus.
