Job Summary:
The Compensation & Benefits HR (C&B) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compensation, benefits, and HR operations strategies that support both store and head office employees in Korea. This role ensures pay equity, internal consistency, and compliance with local labor laws, while supporting the company’s growth as a premium retail and F&B brand. The position partners closely with the Finance, HRBP, and Regional HR teams to align the company’s pay philosophy, budget efficiency, and HR system excellence.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compensation & Payroll Management:
- Design and implement competitive salary structures and grading systems aligned with business and market standards
- Manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements
- Drive semi-annual and annual salary review processes, including HR costing and scenario analysis
- Support Finance in labor cost budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting
Incentive & Benefits Program:
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve incentive programs (sales incentives, profit sharing, special awards, etc.) for both store and head office employees
- Review and optimize employee benefits to enhance retention, engagement, and employer value proposition
- Evaluate cost-effectiveness and ROI of compensation and benefits programs
HR Policy & Compliance:
- Manage HRIS data accuracy, process improvement, and digitalization of HR operations
- Ensure payroll and HR data integrity across all systems (Workday or equivalent)
- Provide HR analytics reports on HC, turnover, absenteeism, and labor cost for management insights

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with HRBP and Operations teams to ensure store-level HR operations are compliant and efficient
- Collaborate with Finance for compensation budgeting and forecast alignment
- Work closely with Regional HR to ensure market alignment and best practice sharing across regions
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6–12 years of HR experience with a strong focus on Compensation, Payroll, and HR Operations
- Proven experience in designing and managing C&B programs in retail, F&B, or service industries
- Deep knowledge of Korean labor law, taxation, and statutory benefits
- Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel/HRIS system proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, Team Player and client centric mindset
- Fluency in English for reporting and coordination with Regional HR
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Experience supporting multi-store operations or fast-growth environments
- Exposure to regional HR projects or international HR alignment
- A structured and detail-oriented professional with a data-driven mindset
