Responsibilities and Duties
- Supplier Development for Export
- Conduct supplier research, including data analysis on production items, capacity, and quality certifications.
- Cultivate competitive supplier relationships.
- Facilitate sample arrangements and evaluations at the factory.
- Initiate and support local suppliers, particularly regarding quality assurance for approval and stabilization for mass production.
- Centralized Activity Management:
- Centralize supplier contacts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while preventing illicit procurement activities.
- Monitor procurement status to enhance supplier selection and pricing processes.
- Collaborate with companies and departments regarding unique purchasing requests.
- Participate in regular supplier evaluations and implement necessary improvement actions.
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure supplier performance meets quality and cost objectives.
- Collaborate with the centralized team across the Asia Pacific region.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Department Head.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, with Technical background.
- Prior experience in a similar role within manufacturing or trading companies is desirable.
- Familiarity with supplier evaluation processes is essential.
- Knowledge of trading operations and basic quality control issues is advantageous.
- Willingness to visit suppliers (factories) regularly, approximately 3-4 times weekly.
- Proficient in English communication skills.
- Strong communication and analytical abilities.
- Self-driven with a keen interest in enhancing trading business skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
