Centralize Purchasing Officer

    Responsibilities and Duties

    -    Supplier Development for Export

    • Conduct supplier research, including data analysis on production items, capacity, and quality certifications.
    • Cultivate competitive supplier relationships.
    • Facilitate sample arrangements and evaluations at the factory.
    • Initiate and support local suppliers, particularly regarding quality assurance for approval and stabilization for mass production.

    -    Centralized Activity Management:

    • Centralize supplier contacts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while preventing illicit procurement activities.
    • Monitor procurement status to enhance supplier selection and pricing processes.
    • Collaborate with companies and departments regarding unique purchasing requests.
    • Participate in regular supplier evaluations and implement necessary improvement actions.
    • Work closely with relevant departments to ensure supplier performance meets quality and cost objectives.
    • Collaborate with the centralized team across the Asia Pacific region.
    • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Department Head.

    Job requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, with Technical background.
    • Prior experience in a similar role within manufacturing or trading companies is desirable.
    • Familiarity with supplier evaluation processes is essential.
    • Knowledge of trading operations and basic quality control issues is advantageous.
    • Willingness to visit suppliers (factories) regularly, approximately 3-4 times weekly.
    • Proficient in English communication skills.
    • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
    • Self-driven with a keen interest in enhancing trading business skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
