CEO - Country Head Vietnam

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    P&L Management is a must-have.

    • Proficient in analyzing financial statements and directing teams to increase revenue and improve overall business health. 
    • Effectively assess market trends, customer needs, seasonal patterns, and supply restrictions to develop growth strategies.
    • Demonstrated success in building offline/retail/omnichannel enterprises, particularly in the EdTech sector, from a single city to a nationwide presence in Vietnam while retaining profitability.


    Leadership & Team Management

    • Foster a positive business culture by leading a high-performing, cross-functional team with diverse backgrounds. 
    • Organize regular town halls, business meetings, and recognition events to foster a performance-driven culture.
    • Establish clear goals, align teams, settle disagreements, provide feedback, and evaluate performance effectively.
    • Recruit important team members to drive business growth.

    Customer Satisfaction and NPS

    • Conduct regular feedback analysis to improve client happiness and deliver great service.
    • Empower teams to handle challenging client scenarios while staying aligned with brand values.
    • Handle critical client issues personally as needed.

    Growth Mandate

    • A track record of providing consistent revenue growth on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis through sustainable channels.
    • Understanding marketing channels and how to use them to grow your business.
    • Skilled in creating engaging sales efforts to pique customers' interest and intent.

    Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

    • Takes a hands-on approach to resolving team challenges, ensuring no roadblocks are overlooked.
    • Troubleshoot startup-specific difficulties to ensure seamless operations.
    • Establishing and managing many hubs in Vietnam will necessitate business travel in the near future.
    • Attend three to four meetings per year in India to engage in crucial debates and events

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Comprehensive awareness of the Vietnam education market, including local marketing channels and cultural subtleties.
    • Knowledge of EdTech companies based in Vietnam.
    • Information about children's learning needs and how to improve their understanding of ideas.
    • Understanding parents' motivations and needs surrounding their children's education.

    TO WIN, YOU'LL NEED:

    • Proven leadership expertise in the EdTech sector, especially managing offline retail outlets.
    • Ideally, previous consulting experience is required.
    • Proven track record of managing profit and loss statements and generating profitable growth.
    • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to investors and the Board of Directors.
    • Demonstrates strong leadership and team-building skills, focusing on cross-functional collaboration.
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is a bonus.
    • Willingness to go to India as needed.
    • A degree from a renowned university or college.

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Experience expanding EdTech operations.
    • A strong focus on customer service, student outcomes, and financial success.
    • Capability to implement strategic adjustments that ensure long-term corporate viability.
