About the role:
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven CDO to lead our Service Delivery teams and drive operational excellence. As the CEO’s top advisor, you will shape delivery strategy, build high-performing teams, and ensure client value at every touchpoint.
- Lead and scale our service delivery organization.
- Align delivery operations with business goals.
- Build performance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
- Report directly to CEO/Board on delivery KPIs and business impact.
Note: In the first phase, the selected candidate may start as Deputy CDO cum Pre-sales Manager before taking on the full CDO role.
1. Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of project portfolio management (PMI standard).
- Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMBOK, CMMI.
- Strong grasp of software development methodologies: Agile, Scrum, RUP, Waterfall.
- Experience in marketing and B2B sales is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance fundamentals and financial planning.
- Working knowledge of international standards and frameworks: ISO 250nn, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 27001:2005, ITIL, BABOK, CTFL, Balanced Scorecard.
- Demonstrated leadership and influence across teams and functions.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, coaching, and consulting capabilities.
- Effective time management, strategic planning, and task delegation.
- English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 800+, IELTS 6.5+, or CEFR level B2 and above.
3. Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the IT outsourcing industry, with direct involvement in service delivery to international clients.
- 10+ years in leadership roles managing software development and delivery teams.
- Proven track record in handling multi-project portfolios, distributed development teams, and offshore/onshore delivery models.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development is a plus.
