Job Responsibilities
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning
• Establishing and developing relations with Top Management, External partners, and stakeholders
• Responsible for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting, and helped drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs.
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization.
• Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
• Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund expansion.
• Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action.
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
• Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
• Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
• Review the planning process and suggest improvements to the current methods.
• Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
• Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
• Support and undertake ad-hoc matters as required from time to time.
Job Requirements
• Experience as CFO of a reputable construction/engineering/solar/property development company is required.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in the finance industry and proven leadership and management experience are required.
• Preferably with an in-depth understanding of the solar, construction, engineering, or property development industry dynamics, regulations, and best practices.
• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business administration, or finance.
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or full professional accounting qualification (ACCA/MIA/CIA).
• Experience in handling Group Consolidation reports.
• Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
• Experience with corporate governance.
• Excellent knowledge of corporate financial law.
• Hands-on experience with risk management.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations
