Key Responsibilities:
Overall
- Lead the transformation of the Finance function to optimize the operating model.
- Enhance the capabilities of team members by improving technical knowledge, process discipline, and communication skills.
- Optimize the structure of the Finance organization for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Evaluate and improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and refine Finance policies.
- Utilize technology to enhance Finance operations, including implementing new accounting systems and automation initiatives.
Financial Planning
- Master the Financial Planning to achieve impactful results across the organization.
- Strengthen Financial Planning's collaboration with other departments.
- Assess the optimal use of excess working capital, current assets, and investments.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify performance improvements against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare internal reports for executive leaders and support decision-making with ad hoc analysis.
Accounting
- Lead the Accounting team in day-to-day activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAS, IFRS standards, and corporate policies.
- Manage the audit process and tax reporting compliance.
- Implement tax planning strategies to achieve optimal effective tax rates and manage tax risks.
- Maintain effective internal control in line with company policies.
- Manage cash flow effectively through planning and monitoring.
Other Responsibilities
- Act as a finance specialist in equity, debt fundraising, M&A, and project acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce is necessary, along with desirable qualifications like ACCA or CPA.
- At least 10 years of experience in finance operations, ideally in a leadership capacity, preferably within real estate sector.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective leadership skills are vital.
- Top-notch presentation and communication skills are crucial for conveying the company's financial vision and driving optimal financial performance.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese is a must, with a good grasp of Vietnamese tax and financial regulations.
