Country Manager

    Role purpose

    Reporting line: Regional Manager, SEA

    Working location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

    The Country Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, recruitment agents in particular, to represent our client's global presence in Vietnam and increase the overall number of Vietnamese students enrolled in academic programs at the University.

    In order to further this goal, the incumbent will actively counsel prospective students to support their academic journey, represent the university at recruitment events, provide training to our registered partners and recruitment agents while developing and managing these relationships, and identify opportunities to collaborate with governmental agencies and other educational institutions.

    Job description:

    1. Oversee the development and execution of initiatives to meet annual recruitment goals established for the Vietnam market and other markets as needed.

    2. Contribute to the university's market intelligence by compiling,synthesizing, and sharing relevant information and opportunities about the present market that can help the university accomplish and surpass its recruitment goals.

    3. Represent the University at education promotion and recruitment events, such as exhibitions, seminars, and events organized by recruitment agents to show professionalism and the University's values, and actively contribute to increase the University's profile and brand.

    4. Collaborate with other members of the international student recruitment team to achieve common goals, strengthen capacity, and enhance recruitment efforts.

    5. Provide constructive criticism where necessary and work cooperatively with International Admissions to ensure that the University's Admission Guidelines and Policies are followed, as well as compliance with the ESOS National Code.

    6. Assist the Regional Manager with a variety of additional tasks as needed, such as, but not limited to:

    a. organizing and leading visits to campus by agents, institutions representatives, and

    b. other officials from relevant regions

    c. providing input into International Student Recruitment Country planning for Vietnam, including budget planning and expenditure

    d. providing Internal and external reporting

    e. Stakeholder relationship management and representing International.

    Job requirement

    • A bachelor degree and/or a necessary set of knowledge, abilities, and experience.

    • Proven expertise in sales and the capacity to quickly pick up knowledge of international education.

    • Proven experience in international education recruitment.

    • Fluent in English and Vietnamese.

    • A valid passport to travel to Vietnam, Australia, and perhaps other SEA nations.
