Country Manager

    Reports to: Regional Director / CEO

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategy & Leadership:

    • Set and execute business plans to grow the solar business in Vietnam.
    • Stay informed on local market trends and regulations.

    2. Business Development:

    • Find and develop new solar projects.
    • Build relationships with investors, clients, and government agencies.

    3. Project Management:

    • Oversee the full life cycle of solar projects (from planning to operations).
    • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    4. Operations:

    • Manage existing solar projects to ensure high performance and energy generation.
    • Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.

    5. Team Management:

    • Lead and develop a local team to meet business objectives.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

    6. Financial Oversight:

    • Manage the country's budget and ensure financial targets are met.
    • Work with the finance team to secure project funding.

    7. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all projects comply with local laws and regulations.
    • Maintain good relationships with regulatory bodies.
       

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business.

    Experience:

    • 10+ years in renewable energy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Experience in solar energy projects and knowledge of Vietnam’s energy market.

    Skills:

    • Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Project management and financial oversight.
    • Fluent in English (Vietnamese is a plus).
