Reports to: Regional Director / CEO
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy & Leadership:
- Set and execute business plans to grow the solar business in Vietnam.
- Stay informed on local market trends and regulations.
2. Business Development:
- Find and develop new solar projects.
- Build relationships with investors, clients, and government agencies.
3. Project Management:
- Oversee the full life cycle of solar projects (from planning to operations).
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Operations:
- Manage existing solar projects to ensure high performance and energy generation.
- Optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Team Management:
- Lead and develop a local team to meet business objectives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
6. Financial Oversight:
- Manage the country's budget and ensure financial targets are met.
- Work with the finance team to secure project funding.
7. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all projects comply with local laws and regulations.
- Maintain good relationships with regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business.
Experience:
- 10+ years in renewable energy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in solar energy projects and knowledge of Vietnam’s energy market.
Skills:
- Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Project management and financial oversight.
- Fluent in English (Vietnamese is a plus).
