Country Manager

    Responsibilities and Duties
    1. Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue growth opportunities in the local market.
    • Expand the customer base and explore new business channels.
    • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets. 
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.

    2. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop long-term business plans that align with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
    • Set clear goals and KPIs for the local team to ensure sustainable growth.
    • Regularly assess market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.

    3. Team Management:

    • Build, train, and lead a high-performing local team.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages innovation and high performance. 
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.

    4. Financial Management:

    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
    • Ensure financial stability and profitability.
    • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions when needed.

    5. Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, government agencies, and business partners.
    • Represent the company in negotiations and high-level meetings. 
    • Foster strategic partnerships to support business growth.

    6. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies. 
    • Identify and mitigate potential business risks.

    7. Reporting and Performance Management:

    • Provide regular reports to regional and global leadership on business performance. 
    • Use data to drive decision-making and improve business outcomes.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of management experience, including at least 2 years in a Country or Regional Manager role within a multinational company.
    • Strong leadership, business acumen, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Experience in the building, construction, or insulation industry is a plus.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Fluent in English.
