1. Responsibilities
- Business Strategy Development: Advise the Export Sales Director on formulating long-term and short-term export strategies in the Philippines. Implement the approved plan and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer demand in target countries within the assigned region.
- Manage the Sales Team: Recruit, train, assign tasks, evaluate performance, and motivate the sales team. Set sales targets, monitor performance, and drive the team to achieve business goals.
- Customer Relationship Development: Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners in the assigned region. Participate in events and exhibitions to expand the customer network.
- Market Development and Business Growth: Identify and establish relationships with service providers, local industry authorities, and partners to optimize costs, customs, and taxes. Negotiate with local agencies to expand business and handle customer complaints and concerns.
- Contract Negotiation: Participate directly in negotiating contracts with clients and advise the Export Sales Director on contract terms to ensure alignment with the company’s interests and compliance with international legal regulations.
- Contract Implementation Monitoring: Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely execution, quality, and payment of orders.
- Budget Management and Revenue Forecasting: Monitor the budget to ensure adherence to the plan and advise the Export Sales Director on revenue forecasting and financial planning for export markets.
- Compliance with International Regulations: Stay updated on international import/export regulations and develop policies and procedures related to customs and import/export processes to ensure compliance across relevant departments.
- Analysis and Reporting: Assist the Export Sales Director in assessing the effectiveness of strategies, reporting results to management, and preparing detailed reports on business performance in the Philippines, proposing improvements for the assigned region.
- Process Compliance and Improvement: Comply with and suggest improvements for the company’s internal policies and processes. Develop and improve departmental processes and regulations, promoting the application of technology to enhance internal and cross-departmental operations
2. Authorities
- Implement and oversee business plans in the Philippines.
- Manage the sales team in the assigned region: recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Supervise customer relationships and sales targets.
- Monitor sales targets, and KPIs, and provide regular performance reports and recommendations to senior management.
3. Requirements
3.1. Basic Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English.
3.2. Competencies and Experience
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in project sales, preferably pre-engineered steel or structural steel projects
Skills
- Strong in market development, expanding customer bases, and planning.
- Excellent logical thinking, communication, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Skilled in negotiating, closing deals, and managing contracts.
