Responsibilities:
- Lead the Southeast Asia sales team, focusing on exceeding goals and achieving efficient pipeline coverage through effective sales processes.
- Develop and qualify leads, managing them through the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close. This includes identifying pain points, tailoring solutions, and securing commitments from target accounts (specifically, Banks and FSIs with over $1 billion in assets and C-level decision makers)
- Provide deep industry expertise, acting as an individual contributor for the Malaysian market and driving sales growth.
- Utilize CRM tools to comprehensively manage account and opportunity information, ensuring accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to navigate challenges and advance sales progress.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, managing demos, RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition of the firm.
- Regularly gather and share market intelligence with leadership, product, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment and strategic decision-making.
- Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, competitor landscape, and client strategic initiatives to ensure informed sales strategies.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years directly selling FinTech, B2B solutions, CRM systems, or enterprise software within the Banking sector.
- Proven ability to excel in a B2B sales environment, with exceptional communication and presentation skills. Fluency in both English and a Southeast Asian language is a must.
- Expertise in territory planning, account management, opportunity development, prospecting, and driving demand generation.
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving impressive results.
- Experience implementing systematic sales processes to optimize customer engagement and achieve sales efficiency.
- Prior success in disrupting established competitors within the FinTech industry by leveraging superior product knowledge and capabilities to deliver exceptional value to clients.
- A demonstrable history of building and leading high-performing sales teams, ideally with experience in FinTech sales, CRM solutions, or next-generation platforms within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and a firm believer in implementing sales processes that drive consistent sales achievements.

Academic qualifications:
