PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze both business and technical areas to create representative logical and physical data models.
- Develop adaptable data models that can evolve with changing business needs.
- Establish standards, guidelines, best practices, and approved techniques for data modeling.
- Consolidate multiple logical source models into a cohesive enterprise model.
- Identify key enterprise data assets based on their business impact, decision-making value, risk mitigation, or organizational significance.
- Implement and oversee Master Data Management for important data assets and reference data, leading the stewardship committee.
- Develop and maintain data governance practices.
- Oversee data integration, business intelligence (BI), and enterprise information management programs, optimizing data processes for reuse.
- Design data repositories such as warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to support BI initiatives.
- Gather and identify various metadata assets.
- Shape the future data architecture and provide best practices and guidelines.
- Ensure critical data assets from any project are included in the enterprise information architecture (EIA) and adhere to its design standards.
- Provide expertise and leadership in database design, data modeling, security, integration, data mining, and advanced analytics.
- Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and discipline in daily interactions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- From 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, approaching Architect level or higher, hands-on strongly
- Proficient in English communication
- Experience in building systems from scratch
- Experience with on-premise systems and willingness to work on-premise
