    Job Summary
    The incumbent in this job role will be responsible for implementing initiatives in areas such as Organization Management and System Solutions within the designated area of Solar PV Business.

    Responsibilities 
    Leadership and Management Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the management and technical guidance of the Diamond Wire Equipment Engineering team, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of equipment.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive equipment maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to prioritize equipment repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion.
    • Conduct thorough equipment performance evaluations and implement improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.
    • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of equipment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
    • Manage equipment modification projects, from conceptualization to implementation, to meet the specific production requirements of the organization.
    • Monitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and contractors to facilitate equipment procurement and maintenance activities.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and company policies related to equipment operations and maintenance.

    Mentoring and Development:

    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

    Basic Qualifications

    • B.E./ B.Tech – Materials Science/ Metallurgical/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical 
    • Essential Work experience: 15 Years
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Microsoft Office, Minitab
    • ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 
    • Six Sigma, QC Tools, Kaizen, Statistical Process Control, TQM (added advantage)

    Required Technical Experience 

    • Experience in Greenfield Startup: Led a team of engineers in collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for the installation and commissioning of equipment.
    • Equipment Design and Development: Designed and developed mechanical and electronic equipment, analyzed and enhanced existing systems, performed customizations, and installed and removed attachments and addressed issues and complaints promptly and efficiently, conducting inspections and testing of new systems.
