JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage the product development program's timing and quality.
- To ensure the product meets quality standards, evaluate quality and risk at various stages of development and make improvement requests.
- Establish evaluation standards for battery cell/pack design to ensure that it meets technical specifications as well as approved quality standards.
- Lead a team to develop quality standards for battery packs/cells in accordance with market requirements, as well as DVP/PVP testing standards to evaluate design and manufacturing quality.
- Review and approve outsourced product testing processes.
- Follow and track the testing timeline and progress of the supplier.
- Establish requirements for the QC team and create on-the-job training plans to ensure personnel are qualified and proficient with applicable global requirements and internal governing procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, automotive, or a related field
- Minimum of ten years of experience in R&D Quality programming, planning, and quality control for the product development process, including five years in a similar management role.
- Expertise in qualification/validation of analytical methods, preferably for Li-ion batteries
