Responsibilities and Duties
- Accountable for overseeing the design, development, support, and upkeep of industrial machinery and modules.
- Developing electronic schematics and PCB designs for new products or upgrades, ensuring alignment with specifications, and overseeing PCB layout.
- Assessing and selecting appropriate components for product integration, conducting research, and proposing hardware and software solutions that meet business objectives.
- Collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders worldwide to ensure project alignment.
- Generating comprehensive product documentation, encompassing technical specifications, schematics, test reports, BOMs, and manuals.
- Conducting risk assessments and EMC tests to ensure products comply with safety standards such as CE, NR12, and UL.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in electronic or electrical engineering or a related field at the bachelor's or master's level.
- Over 3 years of experience in designing PCBs and working with electronics engineering or electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficient in motion control involving servo, stepper, and DC motors.
- Skilled in electrical circuit design, sensor application, automation, and industrial control design.
- Experienced in developing control boards; familiarity with STM microprocessors is beneficial.
- Competent in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiar with Machinery Directives and CE standards.
- Additional expertise includes familiarity with UL, CCC, and NR12 directives.
- Knowledgeable in using Sistema software for safety integrity assessment.
- Understanding of software/firmware programming is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and international settings.
- Open-minded with a positive attitude.
- Capable of managing pressure and achieving product development milestones.
- Fluent in English or Mandarin with proficiency in both; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: 6000 SGD - 8000 SGD
