Job Description:
- Support and optimize engineering applications within a global environment, ensuring
- alignment between IT requirements and business needs.
- Administer and assist users with specialized engineering software such as Autodesk
- Inventor, Autodesk Mechanical, TEKLA Structures, EPLAN, and Aveva E3D.
- Manage and deploy PDM/PLM systems, including Autodesk Vault Professional.
- Monitor and evaluate software licenses, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Provide 1st and 2nd-level support for engineering applications.
- Maintain and oversee related servers, including license and job servers.
- Develop and maintain engineering application templates (e.g., title blocks for various projects).
- Implement and control custom installation routines and configurations for engineering applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field that bridges engineering and IT (e.g., computational engineering or similar).
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong expertise in 2D and 3D engineering software and its integration within PDM/PLM systems.
- Experience in configuration, administration, and integration of PDM/PLM solutions.
- Proficiency in license, rights, and access management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Skills in process documentation and optimization.
- Familiarity with .NET programming to understand interfaces and customizations.
- Basic knowledge of batch scripting for installation and configuration tasks.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively in a global team setup.
