ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee multiple project teams or departments involved in all facets of product development
- Formulate and execute a departmental strategy in alignment with the company's overarching strategy
- Participate in employee recruitment, development, and performance evaluation to ensure alignment with the optimal organizational structure
- Implement a performance evaluation system that is fair and balanced for employees
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- Background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Information System
- 12+ years of experience in software development
- 8+ years of experience in managing web projects or product development
- Experience working as a senior Java or Golang software engineer or higher
- Proficient in managing and constructing engineering teams (directly or indirectly) consisting of fifty or more members; organizational agility
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, particularly when confronted with critical or escalated issues
- Excellent people management experience: employee satisfaction, career development, performance evaluation, guidance, mentoring, and one-on-one meetings
- Extensive knowledge of developing and managing B2B applications
- Extensive familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) - Solid understanding of security and robust high-performance systems
- Proficient in the design and implementation of multi-tenant architectures, microservices, and micro-frontend
- Proficient in resolving intricate business and technological challenges, including but not limited to: finance and accounting systems, banking systems, distributed systems, and scalable web applications
- English proficiency (professional working level)
Nice-to-have:
- Proficient work experience in an IT firm at a comparable level, including Engineering Manager, Department Manager, VP of Engineering, Head of Delivery, or CTO
- Capable of assembling and expanding an Agile/powerful engineering team from 50 members: Recruitment, Software Development Process, Career Development, Role Determination, Project Organization Structure, Engineering Culture, and Organizational and team continuous improvement
