Main Responsibility
You are in charge of direct sales that help the company’s Information Software Solutions meet revenue expectations and realize the company's ambitious linked enterprise goal. This includes, but is not limited to, the sale of Manufacturing Execution Systems, Industrial IoT, and Advanced Analytics throughout Malaysia for numerous different industries, including F&B, CPG, and Automotive.
Additional Responsibilities Of This Role Include
- Achieving and surpassing quota by actively pursuing prospects and bringing them to a successful conclusion while collaborating with the larger matrix sales teams.
- Create and maintain a precise sales pipeline for information software and other connective solutions.
- Contribute to the creation of the project's scope and ROI analysis. Use value selling strategies to calculate projected ROI and design business deals accordingly.
- Use selling resources from Global Sales & Marketing to find and access target opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact between clients, local sales team members, and Rockwell Automation Information Software to guarantee effective and efficient information flow from sales and pipeline development operations.
- Using CRM technology, provide sales management with formal status reports on a regular basis that include information on the forecast, pipeline, and activity summary.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree is preferred, preferably in engineering, supply chain management, computer science, manufacturing information technology, or a closely connected field.
- Minimum of five years experience in pre-sales, direct sales, or consulting, preferably in the food and beverage and other industries.
- The capacity to pitch senior management.
- Understanding of logistics, production flow, and communication with IT and manufacturing systems.
- Preferable skills include ERP, FactorTalk apps, Java, IIOT, smart manufacturing, Digital Operations, Manufacturing Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Analytics, and Advance Analytics.
