Key Responsibilities
Finance Business Partnering with Operations
- Collaborate closely with Operations leadership to assess cost structures, operational efficiency, and investment opportunities through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Analyze the financial viability of investment projects, network expansion plans, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Join regular cross functional discussions to deliver financial insights and recommendations that enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.
Financial Planning and Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts that align with the company’s business strategy.
- Work with different teams to gather operational inputs and build accurate financial projections.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within forecasts and update financial plans when needed.
Financial Analysis and P&L Reporting
- Produce regular management reports, monthly or quarterly, highlighting key metrics such as revenue, cost, profitability, and resource utilization.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts to understand root causes and trends.
- Provide data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Financial Systems and Tools Development
- Determine system and tool requirements to support finance functions, including forecasting platforms, automated reporting, and KPI dashboards.
- Work with Product, Technology, and BI teams to develop solutions that meet financial and operational needs.
- Review system outputs and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of financial technology tools.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and manage a team of 3 to 5 FP&A professionals, ensuring clear responsibilities and timely delivery of work.
- Mentor team members to strengthen their analytical skills and business partnering capabilities.
- Promote a collaborative and proactive environment that supports continuous improvement.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are an advantage.
Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in finance-related roles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams of 2 members or more.
- Background in e-commerce or logistics is highly preferred.
Skills
- Strong capabilities in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, with SQL or experience working with large datasets considered a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
