Description:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governmental regulations, and GAAP for the jurisdiction that requires it (VAS & IFRS are the most critical)
- Collaborate with various internal partners include departments and BUs to streamline monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual closing process and to develop internal control system and procedural documentation
- Work with external partners and stakeholders;
- Revise the transfer pricing compliance and set up
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, semi-annual & annual operating result against standard costing, forecast and budget to review, monitor and drive business performance
- Finance policies & procedures – build a fit for purpose group finance manual
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc management reports and relevant analyses in a precise and timely manner
- Prepare quarterly/rolling forecast and annual budget including financial statements, P&, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, highlighting exceptions for discussion and decision making
- Participate with ad hoc financial analysis and projects designed to gather data and improve operational efficiencies
- Lead, direct and manage a controlling team, overseeing and directing financial/accounting & reporting functions for all company entities, with a focus on improving the effectiveness and streamlining the finance function
- Ensure other non-core ERP modules are fit for purpose to support financial accounting & reporting requirement with adequate controls in place
- Drive efficiency in financial accounting and reporting by streamlining processes and Controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experiences in financial controlling, accounting including experience in a manufacturing and FMCG environment
- Good knowledge of financial operations, financial budgeting and analysis.
- Understand the structure of business operations, business culture, have effective working methods & management to achieve success when changing the environment.
- Understanding of products and activities of departments in the organization
- CFA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA certificates or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- English: Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing well
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, experienced in using business software & financial reporting functions
- Experience in using ERP (SAP/ ORACLE/…)
