Job Description:
EV Search’s client is seeking a skilled Firmware Developer with strong experience in embedded systems and device driver development. The role involves firmware/software design, validation, debugging, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and debug MCU/UEFI firmware and device drivers (C/C++).
- Support and troubleshoot firmware issues at the factory.
- Perform software integration, validation, and kernel-level debugging.
- Collaborate with global teams.
- Propose creative solutions and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Qualifications:
- 4–8 years of experience in firmware and embedded systems.
- Strong knowledge of MCU programming, Intel/ARM architecture, and RTOS concepts.
- Proficient in C, with good knowledge of C++ and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
- Experience in Windows/Linux device driver development, kernel internals, and debugging tools (WinDBG, JLink, etc.).
- Familiar with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Must-have Skills:
- C programming and Python/PowerShell scripting.
- Exposure to C++ and Azure DevOps.
- Quick learner with ability to apply new technologies.
- Strong organizational and execution skills.
