Duties/Responsibilities:
• Receive and process set-ups from merchandisers for sample making.
• Work with pattern maker to develop patterns
• Instruct the relevant sewing operator to make samples.
• Calculate consumption of fabric and trim.
• Calculate standard sewing time based on workflow.
• Calculate CM prices.
Requirement and Experience:
• Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of experience managing sewing women's and children's fashion samples
• Strong knowledge of sewing methods, garment construction, and fitting. Proficiency in using sewing machines and other relevant equipment.
• Understand and have the ability to make patterns based on photos or samples and measurement charts.
• Ability to adjust patterns for improving best fitting.
• Understand and can make and optimize mini markers for the most efficient fabric consumption.
• Experience in preparing standard sewing times for estimating CM prices.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to communicate in industry-relevant basic English – verbally and in writing.
• Good Vietnamese skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
