Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Gastroenterologist (Senior Expert Level) specializing in Hepato-Gastro-Urology (Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal Surgery). The role requires exceptional clinical expertise, leadership in departmental development, contributions to academic and research activities, and active engagement in professional communities at national or international levels.
Responsibilities
1. Clinical Excellence
- Diagnose and treat complex gastroenterology and hepatobiliary cases.
- Perform advanced endoscopic and gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
- Manage critical patients and collaborate in multidisciplinary care.
2. Leadership & Departmental Development
- Lead clinical activities within the department.
- Mentor junior doctors and medical staff.
- Ensure adherence to high standards of medical practice and ethics.
3. Academic & Research Contributions
- Support medical training and education programs.
- Conduct and supervise clinical research.
- Publish in academic journals; present at national/international forums.
4. Professional Engagement & Recognition
- Participate in professional associations and medical societies.
- Represent the hospital at conferences and symposia.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years in Hepato-Gastro-Urology (Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal Surgery).
- Doctorate (PhD, clinical), Fellowship in the specialty, or academic title of Associate Professor/Professor.
- Highly skilled in advanced endoscopic and surgical techniques; capable of independently performing the majority of specialized procedures.
- Established reputation as a national or regional expert, with proven contributions to academia, research, or leadership in professional associations.
- Must hold a valid medical practice license issued by the competent authority in the home country.
