General Manager Marketing

    Key Responsibilities
    Product Development & Innovation (NPD)

    • Innovate & Develop: Support the development and execution of innovative products and marketing initiatives, from ideation to commercialization.
    • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle—from New Product Development (NPD) to post-launch evaluation and phase-out.
    • Consumer Insights & Trends: Utilize market research, consumer insights, and trend analysis to define product specifications, packaging, and positioning.
    • Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate with R&D, Procurement, QA, Production, and Sales teams to ensure product quality and supply continuity.

    Strategic Marketing & Brand Management

    • Brand Strategy: Develop and implement brand strategies, positioning, and long-term equity of the product portfolio.
    • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new launches, ensuring accurate messaging and market positioning.
    • Marketing Communication: Lead marketing communications, including advertising, digital strategies, and promotional activities, to enhance brand visibility.
    • BTL & Activation: Focus on Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing strategies, including promotional programs, activation, and channel optimization to increase market share.

    Commercial Performance & Operation

    • Profitability Management: Monitor product performance, margin, cost efficiency, and growth targets.
    • Budgeting: Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
    • Sales Alignment: Collaborate closely with the sales team to set pricing strategies and ensure successful product execution in the market.

    Leadership & Team Management

    • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the product marketing and brand teams.
    • Agency Management: Manage relationships with advertising, design, and PR agencies.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of tactical and strategic marketing, brand management, or product management experience, preferably in FMCG/Consumer Goods.
    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
    • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to identify market trends and turn them into actionable product initiatives.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market research data, sales metrics, and financial performance.
    • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
    • Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
