Government Relations Manager (Chinese-speaking)

Key Responsibilities

Government Relations Development & Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and relevant regulatory bodies
• Work directly with government agencies on matters related to company operations and compliance
• Represent the company in external affairs activities, official meetings, and government related events

Policy Monitoring & Compliance

• Monitor and update legal regulations and government policies affecting business operations
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Recommend appropriate solutions to minimize policy and regulatory risks

Strategic Advisory & Support

• Advise the Board of Directors on government relations, policy, and regulatory matters
• Support the resolution of issues arising with government authorities and external stakeholders
• Contribute to business development strategies based on policy trends and the regulatory environment

Issue Handling & Risk Management

• Proactively manage and resolve issues involving government agencies and external parties
• Ensure accurate and timely communication between the company and relevant stakeholders
• Minimize legal, compliance, and reputational risks related to external relations

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Law, Public Administration, International Relations, or related fields
• Experience working with government authorities or in a similar Government Relations role
• Good understanding of Vietnam’s governmental system and legal environment

Language

• Good Chinese communication skills, with the ability to work directly with Taiwanese management
