Role Overview
The Head of Design Center will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution of all design initiatives across the organization’s digital products — from the Super App experience to brand identity and visual systems. This role calls for an inspiring design leader who can foster creativity, maintain consistency, and drive global standards of design excellence.
The successful candidate will establish and lead a high-performing Design Center encompassing Product Design, UX Research, Brand Design, and DesignOps. They will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Leadership & Strategy

Define and advocate for the overarching design vision and strategy for the Super App and digital ecosystem.

Ensure consistency and excellence across all design touchpoints and products.

Cultivate a design culture that prioritizes creativity, collaboration, and global best practices.
2. Team Building & Management

Recruit, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary design team (UX/UI, Product Design, Brand Design, DesignOps, Research).

Establish effective organizational structures, workflows, and quality standards.

Encourage a creative, data-informed, and user-centric working environment.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product and Engineering leaders to align design direction with business goals and technical feasibility.

Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to ensure cohesive and consistent experiences across channels.

Represent the Design Center in executive meetings, strategic discussions, and product roadmap planning.
4. Design Operations & Quality

Develop and implement scalable design systems, guidelines, and workflows.

Establish usability testing frameworks, design review processes, and quality benchmarks.

Promote adoption of DesignOps tools and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
5. Innovation & Benchmarking

Benchmark design quality against global industry leaders.

Stay ahead of emerging trends, interaction models, and AI-powered design tools.

Lead innovation initiatives that elevate the digital experience and brand differentiation.
Qualifications
Required:
-
15+ years of experience in Product or UX Design, including at least 5 years in a leadership position.

Proven ability to build and manage large, cross-functional design teams.

Strong portfolio showcasing outstanding product and brand design work.

Deep understanding of design systems, UX research, and the end-to-end product design process.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in English; experience in international or multicultural environments is highly valued.
Preferred:

Background in Super App, fintech, e-commerce, or large-scale consumer platforms.

Familiarity with DesignOps, AI-driven design tools, and multi-product ecosystems.
