Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Compliance & Risk Management
-
Monitor, interpret, and implement regulatory requirements specific to heavy industry, metallurgy, and large-scale manufacturing.

Oversee critical compliance areas: Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), emissions/wastewater standards, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS).

Ensure adherence to laws regarding investment, construction, bidding, labor, social insurance, fire safety, and chemical management.

Advise the Board on legal policies and risk mitigation frameworks for factory operations.
2. Contract Management & Negotiation
-
Draft, review, and finalize complex legal agreements, including:
-
EPC, construction, and technical maintenance contracts.
-
Procurement of raw materials (ore, coal, chemicals, etc.).
-
Technology transfer and international commercial agreements.
-
Domestic and global trade contracts.
-

Lead legal negotiations with partners, suppliers, and contractors.
-
Maintain a standardized contract library and proactive risk-warning system.
3. Internal Legal Advisory & Governance

Provide legal guidance to departments on procurement, bidding, metallurgy operations, and environmental safety.

Oversee labor relations, including personnel discipline and internal regulations.
-
Audit all internal documents, policies, and decisions to ensure full legal validity.
4. Dispute Resolution & Government Relations
-
Lead the resolution of commercial, contractual, and labor disputes.
-
Serve as the primary liaison with state authorities (Ministry/Department of Industry & Trade, Environment, Fire Safety, Labor, etc.).

Prepare legal documentation for inspections and represent the company in legal proceedings as authorized.
5. Project Legal Documentation

Manage and track all project-related permits: Investment, Construction, Fire Safety, Environment, and Operating Licenses.

Maintain legal records for land, assets, and industrial equipment, ensuring all certifications are valid and up to date.
6. Leadership & People Development
-
Structure the Legal Department and delegate responsibilities effectively.
-
Conduct internal training on compliance, contract law, and legal safety.

Mentor and develop a high-performing legal team.
Requirements
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent. A Lawyer’s Practicing Certificate or specialized certifications in International Contracts, Technology Transfer, or Investment are highly preferred.

Experience: * Minimum 6 years of legal experience.
-
At least 2 years in a Leadership/Managerial role within the industrial, energy, metallurgy, EPC sectors, or within FDI projects/top-tier law firms.

Skills: * Expert in contract analysis, negotiation, and technical-legal risk control.

Strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (Technical, Investment, Operations).

English: Proficiency in legal and technical English.
