About our client: Our client is India's largest Solar PV Manufacturer, leading in innovative and massive productions for end-to-end fabrication and assembly of materials across the solar value chain. Inline with company's huge plans to create a complete ecosystem of Solar PV Manufacturing in India, we are looking for a senior professional, who can involve in operation for Cell Manufacturing plant with advanced skilfull knowledge on TOPCON technology.
Incumbent will be responsible for setting up of baseline Process recipes and complete process-quality control for Cell Manufacturing. Incumbent shall also be responsible for continuous improvement in performance parameters and provide Process/technical support to Production line, line optimization
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead a team of Technical Skilled professionals in Process Engineering function pertaining to Cell Manufacturing with advanced TOPCON technology.
- Setting up baseline recipe for Cell Manufacturing and develop mechanism for continuous performance improvement metrics.
- Conceptualisation and Establish new process schemes/concepts in Cell product space.
- Benchmarking of Key Raw materials in Cell Manufacturing with market and development of new cost competitive materials towards OpEx cost reduction.
- Involved with all cross functional teams to achieve timely and cost effective roll out of improvement projects.
- Establish Interaction and collaborative research work with Leading Industries and Academic institutions in India and Overseas to sharpen in-house expertise and manufacturing line performances.
- Closely working with upstream products of Ingot/Wafer team for resolution of Customer complaints on Products.
- Developing key systems and procedures (SOPs) leading to new materials characterization and successful application in manufacturing field.
- Involved with all cross functional teams and lead them from the front to achieve timely and cost effective roll out of projects.
- Responsible for all quality accreditations of new material implementation and QMS in Compliance with ISO 9000:2008, ISO 14001,
- Responsible for all the process control parameters and quality procedures development and implement in Cell manufacturing plant.
- Responsible for Engineering Change Note (ECN) control and Implementation.
- Interact with shift In-charges and shop floor people to identify the issues in the process and Cell quality.
- Identify the new developments in the cost implication areas to reduce the cost and process time without affecting the quality
- Give necessary training for shop floor people to implement and control the process changes
- Interface with production team and internal customer to resolve the technical or quality issues
- Check the hot zone drawings, material and product specification to ensure the accuracy and compliance
- Coordination with internal customers and maintenance team to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables
- Preparation or modification of the following key activities...
- Conceptual designs and process development reports:Block flow diagram (BFD) and Process flow diagram (PFD), Process & Instrumentation diagram (P&ID), Material balances, Basis of design documents, Equipment layouts, Process equipment specifications and data sheets
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 15 years solid experience in Solar Manufacturing Company, with experts knowledge on PV Manufacturing, especially in Cell Assembly (TOPCON)
- Thorough Knowledge on various engineering materials and understanding of application in Solar PV manufacturing
- Engineering Control and Design FMEA
- Knowledge of Cell Assembly techniques (TOPCON or PERC) and Silicon PV value Chain overall
- Knowledge of crystal defects and its impacts on quality of final product and mitigation mechanism
- Knowledge of process controls and design FMEA
- Knowledge of ISO- Standards and procedures/ Basic Computer Knowledge, MS-Office
- Having knowledge of process/Engineering defect simulation if any is an additional advantage
- Basic Safety Knowledge (Fire-safety, Waste Management, etc) / Understanding and compliance of Safety & EHS norms.
- Good communication and Presentation skills
- Should have hands-on experience on Chemical/Gas handling and Chemical/gas distribution system
- Exposure on Crystalline Silicon Wafer & Cell handling and Knowledge
- Have experience on developmental activities on Tool & Line Performance (Green/Black belt Projects)
- Handling Cell line tools at Emergency situations
