Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Market Intelligence
- Develop and execute the strategy for investment product offerings targeting retail clients.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis on investment products, client policies, and business strategies of securities firms and other financial institutions.
- Identify new product opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to senior management.
Product Development & Commercialization
- Lead the end to end lifecycle management of investment products, from ideation through launch and commercialization.
- Key product categories: Bonds, Covered Warrants (CW), Mutual Funds and Fund Distribution Products, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Structured and Derivative Products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop business cases and commercial models for new investment products.
- Design product features, pricing structures, and operational frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, and Legal teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and product rollout activities.
- Prepare product documentation and conduct internal training programs.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to drive product adoption and client acquisition.
- Monitor post launch performance and continuously enhance product offerings based on market feedback and business results.
Sales Enablement & Brokerage Support
- Design and implement sales acceleration initiatives for the Retail Brokerage Division.
- Develop commission structures, incentive programs, and sales campaigns to improve business performance.
- Create sales support tools and resources to enhance broker productivity and effectiveness.
- Analyze sales performance across branches, teams, and individual brokers.
- Recommend initiatives to improve revenue generation, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Business Performance & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor the commercial performance of the investment product portfolio.
- Track key metrics including Assets Under Management (AUM), revenue contribution, product utilization, and customer conversion rates.
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and prepare management reports.
- Recommend strategic actions to strengthen the company's competitive positioning and market share.
Requirements
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Securities practice license is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or other internationally recognized qualifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Development, Wealth Products, or Investment Products within Securities Firms, Investment Banks, Asset Management Companies, or Wealth Management Institutions.
- Proven experience in developing and launching investment products such as Bonds, ETFs, Mutual Funds, Covered Warrants, and Structured Products.
- Strong understanding of retail brokerage operations and the business model of securities firms.
