Job Responsibility
- Manage and continuously improve the QMS (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001).
- Lead the Quality team (QA/QC, inspectors, lab) and strengthen a culture of quality and accountability.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, A3).
- Oversee PFMEA/DFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows, and full PPAP for new products and engineering changes.
- Act as main quality interface for US/EU customers: audits, complaints, visits, and improvement programs.
- Lead supplier quality development and perform supplier audits.
- Secure and maintain required certifications: UL, FM, NSF/ANSI 61 & 372, WRAS, ACS, DVGW, etc.
- Coordinate ISO and customer audits; ensure full compliance.
- Monitor and drive improvements in key quality KPIs (scrap, PPM, FPY, COPQ).
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales for operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or related engineering fields.
- 10+ years in quality management in casting/foundry; 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Strong experience with iron fittings, brass valves/fittings and press-fitting systems for water/HVAC.
- Solid expertise in 8D, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans, and supplier quality management.
- Proven track record with US/EU certifications (UL, FM, NSF, WRAS, DVGW).
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; experience with ISO 14001.
- Strong customer-facing capability with North American and European clients.
- Fluent in Vietnamese & English; Chinese is a strong plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytics, and stakeholder management
