DESCRIPTION
- Develops and implements strategic plans in line with the division's objectives;
- Supports the development of the workforce plan for the division;
- Manages and controls the operating framework for the department, provides guidance and support, ensures implementation and review of work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement;
- Prepares and manages the annual budget for the department and reporting sections in conjunction with the division's budget and secures subsequent approvals, tracks expenditure and ensures adherence to the budget;
- Provides leadership, direction and guidance to a team of Relationship Managers (RM) and assistants, ensuring their productivity, motivation and development;
- Monitors and evaluates team member's performance and providing constructive feedback/ support;
- Manages a portfolio of SB clients; Conducts proactive business development activities from new & existing clients; Understands each client’s financial needs/issue/agenda, originating and assisting in the execution of innovative deal solutions;
- Review market research on an ongoing basis to determine customer needs, potential volume, competitive strategies; originate and provide initiatives for achieving sale plans of the team;
- Works in close coordination with Team Leaders & relevant BUs in assessment of business, financial & economic risks and opportunities, and maximizing potential;
- Conduct administrative and reporting task with timeliness and accuracy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or higher majoring in business administration, economics, finance/banking
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in the finance and banking sector, of which 5-7 years in business positions serving the small and medium enterprise customer segment.
- Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English. Chinese communication is an advantage
- Knowledge about products and services, markets, business industry characteristics and needs of Micro business customers, about the banking and finance industry: advanced
- Up-to-date understanding of the bank's practices, procedures, legal regulations, risk management policies, and operating procedures related to business segments.
- Creative problem-solving skills, business acumen & identifying sales opportunities; ability to collect information and analyze markets and potential customers; Planning and execution management skills: advanced
- Effective communication, presentation, and coaching skills and abilities: advanced
- Team management skills, promoting and motivating employees: advanced
