Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities):
- Oversee daily operations for PV silicon wafer manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and technicians to achieve productivity and yield goals.
- Coordinate daily activities of the WET/WINS operation team and ensure tasks are carried out as instructed.
- Apply engineering knowledge to operate WET/WINS processes for manufacturing solar-grade silicon wafers.
- Identify and monitor critical parameters, addressing factors that impact process control, yield, and throughput.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis for existing processes.
- Provide engineering solutions through data analysis to support quality assurance, evaluate customer complaints, manage processes, and troubleshoot problems.
Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab (statistics), and other relevant software.

Experience
Necessary:
- Over 10-15 years of experience in the field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other engineers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize tasks.
Desirable:
- A good understanding of the chemical reactions involved in manufacturing silicon wafers for semiconductor or solar applications.
- Ability to perform data analysis using engineering statistical methods.
- A strong team player who can work effectively with operators of the wet station, wafer inspection system, and engineers from different departments.
- Knowledge or ability to understand and apply operational excellence principles and tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
Qualifications
Necessary:
- Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech/B.S) in Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Also Considered:
- Master's degree (M.E/M.S./M.Tech) in Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
