Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise site installation of electrical equipment in the following area; control building, 161kV Switchyard, transmission line and PMU area.
- Work proactively to improve productivity without compromising safety or quality requirements.
- Manage and report day-to-day operational aspects of the projects.
- Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
- Work closely with all stakeholders maintaining a high level of communication.
- Work closely with project teams regionally and locally.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewables sector required and project experience in High Voltage
- Degree with honors in Electrical Engineering
- Those with PW4/PW2 Wireman certificates would be an added advantage.
- Able to converse in English and Malay
- Knowledge of local licensing and standard design/construction practices.
- Knowledge of PVSYST, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
- Project management skills.
- Be able to station on-site to manage the workers and sub-contractors, and coordinate with the main contractor and consultants.
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment.
- Ability to adapt well to a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
