HR and Finance Admin Manager

    Location: KL, Malaysia

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR and Finance Admin Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in managing both human resources and financial administrative functions within the company, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting our solar PPA projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and finance, excellent organizational skills, and a keen interest in the renewable energy sector.

    Responsibilities

    Human Resources:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains qualified staff.
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

    Finance Administration:

    • Oversee and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement financial policies and procedures.
    • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
    • Coordinate and manage external audits and financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in Malaysia.
    • Manage financial risk and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.

    General Administration:

    • Support office management tasks, including procurement, vendor management, and office logistics.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure that documentation is properly filed.
    • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements as required.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience 5 to 10 years in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
    • Strong knowledge of Malaysian HR and financial regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
