Overview
This role acts as a strategic liaison between human resources and assigned business units, ensuring that people strategies are aligned with organizational goals. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) contributes to the development and execution of HR initiatives and provides consultative support to both employees and management. The role requires a sound understanding of the company’s operational context, organizational culture, and industry landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department managers to deliver HR solutions aligned with business needs.
- Support the Senior/Manager HRBP in analyzing HR data and trends to recommend appropriate programs, policies, or initiatives.
- Ensure day-to-day HR operations comply with local labor laws and internal regulations, minimizing legal and compliance risks.
- Provide guidance to line managers on performance management, competency evaluation, coaching, disciplinary procedures, and employee development.
- Strengthen employee relations by fostering a positive work environment, supporting team collaboration, and promoting organizational culture.
- Offer clarification and interpretation of HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Assist in workforce planning, organizational changes, and succession planning processes.
- Identify training needs at both department and individual levels; support the design and implementation of learning programs and executive coaching sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Perform other HR-related tasks or projects as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities.
- Solid understanding of organizational structures, job roles, compensation systems, and administrative HR processes.
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for HR responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Proficiency in English across all four skills (writing, speaking, listening, reading).
- Industry-specific knowledge is an added advantage.
