Job Purpose
The infrastructure manager is a leadership role and will be in charge of overseeing a major function of the infrastructure and security department. The candidates need to be totally capable of leading datacenter, Cloud, database and middleware services.
Regarding operation, this role requires hands-on experience in managing operational engineering teams, handling incidents, and continuously improving the team and its services.
Regarding transformation perspective, it is essential to have previous expertise in transformation roadmap development, lead, and execution.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Cooperate with other as a member of the global engineering team for hybrid Clouds
- Regionally supervise and transform the operation of traditional datacenters
- Implement the transformation agenda in the region via a Cloud first strategy
- Present and develop practices for improvement, innovation, policy & procedure
- Join in activities to procure and select datacenter vendor services
- Coordinate major ITSM, ITSCM, DR events
- Support the development of datacenter services using agile ways of working
- Expand and create a mature service out of the DevOps functional team
- Manage the infrastructure to guarantee good security, monitoring and maintenance
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Hold Degree in computer science, information technology, or related Graduate Degree
- 10+ years of working experience in IT industry
- Experience in managing and leading engineering team of 20+ people
- History of employment in large, international corporations
- Proven track records of delivering infrastructure transformation
- Certified in ITIL, AWS or Azure, Window or Linux, database and middleware are preferred
- Project management qualifications is a plus point
- Understand about agile working methods
- Previous expertise in traditional databases, middleware platforms and Cloud enabled platforms
- Customer/executive skills, ability to handle multiple initiatives, strong leadership skills to lead engineering team are required
- Solid knowledge of public and private Cloud services, traditional datacenter operations, virtualization platforms and operating system platforms of Linux and Windows
- Knowledge about active directory and IT security
- Familiar with database technologies and middleware platforms, DevOps capabilities and tool chain
- Proficient in English as candidates need to communicate with management colleagues throughout APAC region daily.
