Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager / Head of Internal Audit Department to lead the internal audit function for our Vietnam operations. As part of the Global Internal Audit (GIA) team within a multinational manufacturing company, you will play a critical role in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks while ensuring operational and financial objectives are met.
This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for establishing and developing the local audit function, driving audit planning and execution, and building a high-performing team from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal audit engagements in line with the Global Internal Audit methodology.
- Assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and deliver clear, actionable audit reports.
- Build, train, and manage a capable internal audit team.
- Establish and strengthen the local internal audit function (if not already in place).
- Drive risk and control awareness through self-assessment programs and workshops.
- Collaborate with overseas entities to support cross-border audits when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in building or leading audit teams is highly desirable.
- Strong English proficiency with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep knowledge of internal controls, accounting standards, and audit practices.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management abilities.
- High integrity, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively to domestic factories (up to 80% of the time).
- Good physical health and commitment to long-term growth with the company.
