The IT Audit Specialist position is a golden opportunity for audit professionals looking to expand their audit, digital, and IT experience by working in a fast-paced international food ingredients company. As an IT Audit Specialist, you will conduct critical business systems and technologies reviews, assess the effectiveness of internal controls, and identify opportunities to enhance process.
Job Description
- Analyze and assess the security environment and application of IT systems.
- Plan and execute the audit scope and execution of these reviews in collaboration with business units and external security experts.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve system output reliability, system security and integrity, and ongoing maintenance strategies.
- Assist in evaluating the overall setup and identifying the main areas of risk by assessing and benchmarking the unit's business process controls, application controls, and IT controls against international and industry standards.
- Review IT management policies and procedures such as change management, business continuity planning/disaster recovery, and information security to ensure that the controls around these processes are adequate.
- Carry out detailed reviews and investigations based on extensive technical knowledge of numerous IT systems.
- Look for opportunities to improve key controls across business and technology procedures for internal clients
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders, as well as serve as a trusted risk advisor on control-related issues.
- Prepare high-quality written reports on audit findings (control issues/gaps) and recommend corrective action plans to management.
- Travel to company locations as needed.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in information systems or computer science is required.
- SAP/S4 Hana technical knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with internal audit data analytics tools if preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 3 years of IT audit experience.
- Obtained or pursuing professional qualifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCI DSS).
- Analytical, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required.
