ROLE OBJECTIVE
The IT Director is responsible for building, operating, and developing the entire IT system of the manufacturing site, ensuring stable, secure, and continuous IT operations that directly support production, engineering, and plant-wide operations.
The role focuses on infrastructure reliability, system availability, cybersecurity, and IT governance and plays a critical role in minimizing operational and production risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. IT Infrastructure & System Operation
-
Manage servers, network systems, computers, and factory IT infrastructure.

Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Plan and manage maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement of IT hardware.

Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure IT systems support plant operations.
2. System Administration & Applications
-
Administer operating systems, servers, domain, email systems, and licensed software.

Manage and support ERP, HRM, internal management systems, and production-related applications.

Ensure compliance with software licensing and internal IT policies.

Provide level 2–3 technical support for internal users.
3. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Build and maintain cybersecurity systems including firewall, antivirus, access control, and backup solutions.

Establish data protection, backup, and recovery mechanisms to minimize operational risks.

Control user access rights and system permissions.

Handle IT incidents and system disruptions to ensure rapid recovery.
4. IT Governance & Risk Management

Develop IT operation procedures, regulations, and internal support SLA.

Identify IT-related risks that may a\ect production and operations, and propose mitigation plans.

Prepare periodic reports on system performance, risks, and improvement plans.
5. IT Team, Budget & Vendor Management

Manage IT team members, including task assignment, training, and performance evaluation.

Develop and control IT budget in line with site operation needs.

Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and system reliability.

Lead IT-related projects such as system upgrades, infrastructure expansion, and digital initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, MCSA, ISO 27001, AWS/Azure) are an advantage. Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Experience working in manufacturing, heavy industry, energy, mining, cement, steel, or similar environments is highly preferred.

Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, servers, and cybersecurity.

Experience managing IT operations in site-based or factory environments.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: open to negotiate, 13th month salary
